Belarusian meat processing and dairy enterprises are taking part in the largest specialized exhibition event in Kazakhstan - the 25th Central Asian International Exhibition "Food Industry" (FoodExpo Qazaqstan 2023), which opened on November 1 in Almaty, BelTA learned from the Belinterexpo exhibition enterprise of the BelCCI.

The FoodExpo Qazaqstan exhibition brought together over 300 companies from 33 countries on one site. In addition to the Republic of Belarus, collective country expositions are represented by Hungary, Indonesia, Poland , Russia , North Macedonia, USA , Sri Lanka and the Republic of Korea .

The section “Meat and Meat Products” presents the Veles-Mit enterprise, as well as Volkovysk, Grodno, Pinsk and Slonim meat processing plants. Manufacturers introduce Kazakhstan consumers to a wide range of sausages, delicacies, smoked meats and canned food. The Volkovysk meat processing plant is demonstrating at FoodExpo Qazaqstan its already beloved meat products, including beef steaks and new types of semi-smoked sausages. Grodno meat processing plant offers beef sausage with prunes. The Pinsk meat processing plant surprises visitors with game meat products. Among the new products are meat pasta and an Italian series of sausages from Veles-Meat. Of particular interest to exhibition visitors was boiled sausage with pistachios according to an Italian recipe.

Dairy industry enterprises - Bellakt, Milk Hills, Lida Milk Canning Plant - brought milk , cheeses , butter , powdered baby food , and powdered milk .

The Bellakt company is presenting its new products on the Kazakh market - frozen cheesecakes, dessert paste with cocoa and hazelnuts and a new line of glazed cheesecakes. For the first time, the Gorky food plant brought to Kazakhstan its legendary line of Exponenta products, rich in proteins and functional characteristics. The Milk Hills company offers not only a traditional line of whole milk products, but also a new series of lactose-free products, including cottage cheese, sour cream and butter. Among the new products, ghee, presented in glass packaging, stands out.

At the professional tasting competition "Best Product FoodExpo Qazaqstan 2023", which was held on the opening day of the exhibition, the Milk Hills company was awarded a diploma in the Dairy Products category, and the Gorki Food Plant received an award in the Best Fermented Milk Drinks category.

The FoodExpo Qazaqstan exhibition is traditionally accompanied by a rich business program, participation in which provides an opportunity for business representatives to exchange experiences and visions for the further development of the food industry. In particular, as part of the business program there will be a business session “Sustainable development of food industry enterprises” and a number of other events. To conduct direct negotiations between retail chains and distributors, a retail center was organized on the exhibition territory.

The exhibition will continue until November 3 inclusive.
