Yakutia plans to produce 100 million chicken eggs annually

This was announced during a live broadcast on social networks by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic Nikolay Afanasyev. “The Yakut poultry farm has a good performance in the supply of eggs: by 2024 we must reach the production of eggs for 100 million pieces. In RUSSIA, there are dozens of factories that reach such a volume in obtaining eggs from one laying hen 320 eggs per year. This is a good indicator in Russia, the Yakut poultry farm works like this,” Nikolay Afanasyev noted.

At the same time, he added that the products of the Yakut poultry farm are popular with the townspeople. In 2020, the volume of production at the Yakutsk poultry farm has increased significantly. The company plans to continue the plan for the technical re-equipment of poultry farm facilities in order to achieve the production of 100 million eggs per year.

This goal was set by the decree of the HEAD of the republic Aisen Nikolaev “On strategic directions for the development of agriculture” in terms of achieving at least 65% self-sufficiency of the republic in chicken eggs in 2024.
