Russia recorded an increase in meat production in September 2024.

Agricultural enterprises produced 1.1 million tons of MEAT in September. This represents a 7.5% increase in poultry production, a 3.4% increase in beef production, and a 1.4% increase in pork production compared to the previous year.

MILK production in September 2024 remained at the same level as last year, amounting to 2.9 million tons, although this figure is significantly lower than the August 2024 result (by almost 10%). However, for the first three quarters of this year, milk production exceeded last year's figures by 0.7%, reaching 26.1 million tons.

Egg production also increased by 1.5% in September compared to the same month in 2023, but this volume decreased by almost 6% compared to August 2024, amounting to 3.9 billion eggs in September and 34.9 billion over the three quarters.
