Based on the results of laboratory tests, the content of the drugs ciprofloxacin and enrofloxacin was detected. At the same time, according to the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union TR CU 021/2011 “On the safety of food products”, the content of medicines in these products is not allowed.

Similar drugs were identified by specialists from the Tver branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "ARRIAH" during the study of edible category 1 chicken eggs from the same manufacturer, selected by employees of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR Office for the Tver and Yaroslavl regions in a kindergarten in the city of Tver.

Eating food containing antibiotic residues , as well as taking antibiotics for therapeutic purposes, can cause adverse HEALTH effects.

Currently, the Rosselkhoznadzor Office for the Vladimir, Kostroma and Ivanovo regions is taking measures in accordance with current legislation.

Previously, the Rosselkhoznadzor Office reported that the poultry farm twice refused to carry out a preventive visit in relation to it, which did not include refusal to carry it out. Based on this fact, the Department has drawn up protocols on administrative violations. Currently, the cases are in the Arbitration COURT of the Kostroma Region.
