Dangerous bacteria found in processed meat products in Primorye

Primorsky food safety experts discovered coli bacteria in three batches of locally produced frozen semi-finished MEAT products (dumplings,cutlets , "hedgehogs").

Verification details:

✔ When:  research completed on July 2, 2025
✔ Who tested: Primorsky branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "NCBRSP" (subordinate to ROSSELKHOZNADZOR)
✔ What was tested:

  • The presence of dangerous bacteria (salmonella, listeria, E. coli)

  • General level of microbial contamination

  • Presence of mold

Results:

? All samples tested were found to contain coliform bacteria
. ? The product  was not released for sale; the testing was conducted as part of production control.

Why is this dangerous?

Although E. coli is not considered a highly pathogenic microorganism, its presence:
➠ Indicates violations of sanitary standards in production
➠ May indicate problems with the storage of raw materials or finished products
➠ Makes the product prohibited for sale, even after heat treatment

What has been done:

✅ The manufacturer disposed of the hazardous product
✅ The data was entered into the Vesta system
✅ The information was sent to  Rosselkhoznadzor  and other regulatory authorities
