
Senacsa's CEO confirmed that the approval process for domestically produced eggs to be shipped to Singapore was successfully completed on Wednesday, marking a new milestone in the domestic egg trade.
According to state news agency IP Paraguay, the first shipments of products to the Asian country are expected to depart this weekend.
"The presence of our eggs on the Singapore market, alongside our meat, strengthens Paraguay's reputation for animal health. This is the result of persistent and ongoing work, allowing us to enter such demanding markets as Singapore, the United States , and Canada," the official stated.

Singapore represents a potential market for Paraguayan agricultural and livestock products worth US$900 million.
Local eggs, along with beef, pork and poultry, are food products that can be shipped to Singapore.
The government also said Senacsa is in advanced negotiations to export Paraguayan products to other markets, such as Chile.
