The Federal Property Management Agency replaced the head of the Pokrovsky concern

By order of the Federal Property Management Agency, signed today, December 5, Alexey Skorobogatov was appointed general director of Agroholding Labinsky LLC, a management company for legal entities of the Pokrovsky concern.

Skorobogatov’s work experience at agricultural enterprises exceeds 10 years. In particular, he held responsible positions at PJSC Cherkizovo Group, JSC Wimm-Bill-Dann Foods, JSC Demetra-Holding and has experience as an anti-crisis manager. The new manager is able to ensure stable operations and further development of the business structure, which unites more than 35 enterprises in different sectors of agricultural production.

The Pokrovsky concern owned assets in the Rostov region, Krasnodar and Stavropol territories. In 2021, the diversified holding found itself at the epicenter of a corruption scandal. 

In March, a criminal case was sent to the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation about raider seizures and extortion of property of agricultural enterprises in the Krasnodar Territory and Rostov Region in an amount exceeding 3 billion rubles, and an indictment was approved against Vladislav Brazhnikov, Genrikh Khachaturov, Alexander Glazyrin, Alexander Voynalovich and Gennady Rodionov.

In August, the Labinsk City Court received a lawsuit from Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Tkachev demanding that the assets of Pokrovsky Concern JSC be converted into state income, including 242 thousand hectares of land with a cadastral value of 67 billion rubles. The Prosecutor General's Office announced its intention to confiscate the assets of Andrei Korovayko, the founder of the Pokrovsky concern, who is wanted. At the end of October, by court decision, they were transferred to federal ownership under the management of the Federal Property Management Agency.

According to Alexey Skorobogatov, his team was given a difficult task: on the one hand, it is necessary to clean up the legacy of unscrupulous owners, on the other hand, to preserve and strengthen the strategic role of the enterprises of the Pokrovsky concern in the economy of three regions, and, in addition, to preserve the team and resolve relationships with creditors.
