The Reftinskaya poultry farm received a Halal certificate for exporting products to the countries of the Persian Gulf. The company has successfully passed the Gulftic-ICSC Halal audit and received an international certificate that allows it to supply products not only to Russian regions where there is a need for halal products, but also to the CIS countries and the Persian Gulf countries: the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain , Saudi Arabia, Oman and Iran.
Elena Shelkovkina, HEAD of the Quality Department of Reftinskaya Poultry Farm JSC, said that Gulftic-ICSC Halal auditors worked at the enterprise for several days. They checked how the site of the enterprise complies with the requirements of international Halal standards.
For example, do we have a prayer room, the possibility of manual slaughter of poultry on a separate site, certified carvers, are there any haram products and ingredients, etc., - the representative of the enterprise explained.
For certification, the entire group of Reftinskaya products was declared, from carcasses and offal to semi-finished products and sausages. Next, the poultry farm will have to register products planned for export, receive certificates of conformity and certificates for shipment of products to specific countries.
It is known that back in December 2022, the poultry farm was certified by ROSSELKHOZNADZOR specialists and received permission to export products to the Persian Gulf countries.
Recall that in early March 2023, it became known that Reftinskaya Poultry Farm JSC ended the year for the first time since 2018 with a net profit. According to Irina Makarova, Managing DIRECTOR of the Ural Agro-Industrial Group, at the end of 2022, the profit of the poultry farm amounted to about 50 million rubles. In 2023, about 500 million rubles will be allocated for the modernization of the Reftinskaya poultry farm.
