Delegation of representatives of the Eurasian Economic Commission visited cattle farms near Moscow

Agricultural organizations of the Moscow region were visited by the leadership of the Department of Agro-Industrial Policy of the Eurasian Economic Commission and business representatives of the Republic of Armenia

“The visit to the advanced farms near Moscow was organized with the aim of exchanging experience and establishing economic cooperation. During the meeting, the delegation got acquainted with the peculiarities of keeping specialized beef cattle of the Simmental beef breed at the Barybino breeding farm of the Domodedovo city district. The guests drew attention to the conditions in which animals are kept and expressed their readiness to use our experience,” said Sergey Voskresensky, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region.

Barybino breeding farm is the leading breeding farm for breeding Holstein cattle and the largest milk production enterprise in the Moscow region. A wide range of dairy products is produced here at its own dairy plant: whole milk , baked milk, kefir, fermented baked milk, sour cream, cottage cheese, curd mass, cheese.

The delegates also visited the modern dairy complexes "Enterprise "Emelyanovka" and "Agrofirma" Sosnovka "in the urban district of Kolomna.

The management and specialists of the enterprises spoke in detail about the system of keeping cattle, the technology of harvesting succulent fodder, the organization of reproduction, feeding and rearing of replacement young animals.

“During the meeting, the guests tried dairy products from the Moscow Region, appreciated their taste and quality,” Sergey Voskresensky added in conclusion.
