Murmansk Region Increases Sausage Production by 19%, but Still Cannot Meet Domestic Demand

However, despite the positive dynamics, the region is still far from self-sufficiency in sausage production. According to Rosstat, the average consumption of sausages in RUSSIA is 18-19 kg per person, while, when calculated for the population of the Murmansk region, this figure is only about 6 kg per person, which indicates prospects for the development of MEAT processing in the region.
