The draft lists the list of agricultural insurance objects by types that can be insured with state support in 2024, as well as the maximum rates for calculating subsidies.

Changes are expected in the procedure for calculating subsidies for animal insurance. In particular, an analysis of the livestock insured with state support in 2018-2022 showed that the total accrued insurance premium under insurance contracts accepted for subsidization is on average 60% less than the premium at tariffs equal to the maximum maximum subsidy rates, the explanatory note says. note to the document.

“Taking into account this circumstance, in order to correctly determine the need for budgetary funds for agricultural insurance with state support in the field of animal husbandry in 2024, a correction factor was applied to the amount of insurance premiums in the amount of 0.4,” the explanation says.

Changes are also introduced in relation to the insurance of commercial aquaculture facilities. For them, a coefficient equal to one is introduced.

The document contains the estimated need for federal budget funds for agricultural insurance with state support. For crop production, it is 3.68 billion rubles, for livestock - 1.6 billion rubles, for commercial aquaculture - 117 million rubles.
