17 Russian companies have received the right to supply meat products to the Philippines.

This was reported by the PRIME economic information agency, citing an interview with Russian Ambassador to the Philippines, Marat Pavlov. The diplomat noted that expanding access for Russian meat processors to the Philippine market is a positive example of industry cooperation, as this market was previously virtually closed to Russian goods. The lifting of import restrictions on beef, poultry, pork, and processed products was the result of joint efforts between the Russian Trade Mission in Manila and Rosselkhoznadzor .
