As we reported earlier, mortality among the livestock at the Vladimirovskaya Poultry Farm LLC began on January 12. The territory of the enterprise is recognized as an epizootic focus of influenza A(H5N1). The threat zone and surveillance zone are defined within a radius of 5 and 10 kilometers, respectively. On the roads leading to the poultry farm, checkpoint personnel are on duty 24 hours a day.
The Vladimirovskaya poultry farm supplies more than 40% of chicken eggs to the regional market. Their prices are expected to rise. Due to the outbreak of influenza A (H5N3) in December 2020, the company lost more than 820 thousand birds and resumed production only at the end of 2022.
