The Krasnodar Regional Veterinary Laboratory has begun using new equipment to diagnose animal poisoning.

This equipment allows for the rapid isolation and concentration of toxic substances from samples delivered for testing for further chemical and toxicological analysis.

Another unique feature of this model is that, instead of cooling with running tap water, it uses a low-temperature automatic circulation thermostat with a closed-loop coolant (antifreeze). This helps achieve lower temperatures and condense elusive volatile toxins that, under normal conditions, might escape from the sample before it's analyzed.

With the help of this equipment, the institution's poisoning diagnostics will become more accurate, but, most importantly, the range of poisons it can detect will expand, the identification of which previously represented an extremely complex analytical task.
