Diet-18 has taken a leading position in the import of meat and meat by-products to Russia

In addition to the increase in imports, there was an increase in sales in several directions, the company said. For example, sales of the network distribution department increased by 5%, and the HoReCa restaurant department increased sales by 37%.

Also in 2023, Diet-18 modernized its deep-frozen warehouse complex and expanded its fleet of vehicles with tractors and multi-temperature semi-trailers.

Let us recall that according to Rosselkhoznadzor  , in total, at the end of 2023, about 600 thousand tons of meat were imported into Russia, which is 30 thousand tons higher than the level of 2022. At the same time, exports of meat and meat products significantly exceeded the level of imports, mainly due to the supply of live cattle to foreign markets.
