More than 790 notifications from farmers of the Rostov, Volgograd and Astrakhan regions and Kalmykia received as part of the implementation of the law on livestock by-products

Most notifications were received from business entities operating in the Rostov region (429 notifications) and the Volgograd region (365 notifications). On the territory of the Astrakhan region and the Republic of Kalmykia, farms engaged in year-round grazing prevail. In this regard, the number of notifications received is not large - only two notifications in each region.

it should be noted that thanks to the explanatory work carried out in advance by officials of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR Administration , the vast majority of agricultural organizations managed to fulfill the requirement on time, that is, before May 1, 2023.

Large-format work in this direction by the department continues. In particular, specialists of the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration conduct preventive visits to pig, poultry, and livestock farms in the controlled regions, during which, among other things, they explain key aspects of legislation on livestock by-products, as well as ways to implement them in practice in production conditions.

In addition, on the official website of the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor, a subsection “By-products of animal husbandry” has been created, where regulatory legal acts and necessary information for agricultural producers are posted.
