
The MHP agricultural holding continues to actively expand its activities, this time acquiring seven companies in Albania and Kosovo. This became possible after the issuance of permission to the Slovenian company Perutnina Ptuj DOO to purchase poultry farms in these countries. Regulators in both countries also approved the deal.
Perutnina Ptuj DOO is a subsidiary of the MHP group, the largest producer of chicken MEAT in Ukraine . The holding's statement notes that thanks to this acquisition, the MHP group intends to organize the production and sale of chicken meat in Albania and Kosovo, using its experience and technology.
MHP is a holding company controlled by Ukrainian oligarch Yuri Kosyuk. it already produces poultry in Ukraine and the Balkans, but is registered in Cyprus. MHP subsidiaries are located in various countries, including the UK, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and EU countries . The holding also owns significant land areas in Ukraine, stretching over 362,000 hectares.
This acquisition expands the geography of MHP's activities and allows it to strengthen its position in the chicken meat market. The company will use its experience and technology to effectively organize the production and sale of products in Albania and Kosovo.
