"The Investigation Department of the USC for the Mogilev region completed an investigation into the murder of a three-year-old girl. According to the investigation, on October 6, 2021, a 27-year-old resident of Bobruisk left her young daughter under the supervision of a 30-year-old cohabitant. A drunken man beat the child during the day, grabbed her by the hair and hit her HEAD on the ceramic tiles in the bathroom. When the woman returned from work, she found her daughter sleeping. In the morning, when the girl began to choke, the mother called an ambulance. Despite the efforts of doctors, the child died in an intensive care vehicle right next to the entrance, "recalled at the incident department.

Investigators, with the involvement of specialists from the UGKSE in the Mogilev region, conducted an inspection of the scene, and also studied the traces and objects of the crime. During the investigation, it was found that since June 2021, the accused, in a state of alcoholic intoxication , periodically beat the daughter of a cohabitant, beat her, which caused physical and mental suffering to the baby until the moment of the murder. In addition, in September, a man beat a girl so hard that he caused her bodily injuries classified as serious on the grounds of danger to life.

During the preliminary investigation, a number of expert studies were carried out, the results of which were studied and attached to the materials of the criminal case. According to the conclusion of a forensic medical examination, a young girl died from a craniocerebral injury, complicated by cerebral edema. At least 29 injuries were found on the girl's body. The man changed his testimony during interrogations to convince investigators that the girl died by accident from hitting her head against the wall in the bathroom.

To establish an objective picture of what happened, the investigators interrogated neighbors, relatives of the deceased child, as well as employees of the preschool institution that the girl attended. Verification of the testimony of the accused on the spot, confrontations and investigative experiments were carried out.

"A man and a woman have been cohabiting since June 2021. At first they lived in a rented apartment, but due to a number of reasons, they moved in with the woman's parents in early October. Both worked. It was at work that they met last spring. The woman has no previous convictions. And her partner, on the contrary, had two convictions. But this did not bother the woman when she left her daughter with a partner. The forensic experts established that the defendant at the time of the crime was able to fully understand the significance of his actions and manage them, was not in a state of passion. Based on the evidence collected in the case, a 30-year-old resident of Bobruisk was charged under part 2 of article 154 (torture of a person in a helpless state) and paragraphs 1.3 of part 2 of article 147 (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm in against a knowingly juvenile in a way that is in the nature of torment and torture), subclauses 2.6 of part 2 of article 139 (murder of a knowingly juvenile in a helpless state, committed with particular cruelty) of the Criminal Code. A measure of restraint in the form of detention was applied to him.

Investigators established the causes and conditions that contributed to the commission of the crime. In the preschool institution visited by the child, violations of job descriptions by employees and administration were revealed. Based on the results of consideration of the presentation made by the investigator, several employees of the kindergarten were brought to disciplinary responsibility. The head of the preschool institution was dismissed from his position.
