May 1, MINSK. A resident of the Mogilev region was injured while working with a motor cultivator, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Rescuers with the help of special tools unblocked the man. The injured was hospitalized.

With the onset of an active sowing season, rescuers remind the safety rules when using agricultural technology. "Working with the motor cultivator requires caution and concentration. Do not use the cultivator if you are tired, under the influence of ALCOHOL or drugs that reduce the reaction. Wear sturdy non-slip shoes, trousers made of durable fabric, work gloves and safety glasses. Choose a comfortable, stable position during work . Keep your hands, the edges of clothing and legs at a safe distance from the rotating parts of the cultivator," the UMES stressed.
