
May 10, Minsk . Local authorities began to make decisions to restrict the sale of alcoholic beverages on May 25, 31, June 10 and September 1. Relevant documents are published on , BelTA informs.
Each district independently determines for how long to introduce restrictive measures. In most of the published decisions, we are talking about May 25 and June 10, when events will be held to promote a healthy lifestyle, as well as timed to coincide with the last school bell, and graduation parties at schools.
So, in the Myadel, Stolbtsovsky, Vileika, Lyubansky districts, restrictions will be in effect from 8.00 on May 25 to 8.00 on May 26 and from 8.00 on June 10 to 8.00 on June 11. In the Minsk region, the same regime applies to the period from 8.00 on May 31 to 8.00 on June 1.
In the Stolin district, restrictions are introduced from 00:00 to 24:00 on May 25, June 10 and September 1, in the Orsha district - from 00:00 to 24:00 on May 25 and June 10.
In Krichevsky district, the sale of alcohol is limited from 00.00 to 24.00 on May 25 and September 1, from 17.00 to 24.00 on June 10, in Mogilev - from 00.00 to 24.00 on May 25 and June 10.
The decisions are based on paragraph 5 of Article 11 of Law No. 429-З "On State Regulation of the Production and Turnover of Alcoholic, Non-food Alcohol-Containing Products and Non-food Ethyl Alcohol". The restrictions do not affect public catering facilities that sell alcohol on tap.
