February 12, Gomel. In the Rechitsa region, a drunk pedestrian died as a result of an accident , BelTA was told by the propaganda department of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee.

The road accident happened on February 10 at approximately 23.00 in Vasilevichy. A 27-year-old Ford driver hit a 66-year-old pedestrian who had fallen onto the roadway. It was not marked with reflective elements and was in a state alcohol intoxication , the traffic police clarified.

As a result of the collision, the pedestrian died in the ambulance.
