July 17, Brest. A drunk driver rammed a concrete fence in the Gantsevichi district, the traffic police department of the Brest Regional Executive Committee told BELTA.

The accident happened on July 16 at about 10:45 p.m. in the village of Gantsevichi. A 31-year-old man got behind the wheel of an Audi car drunk (2.2 ppm ALCOHOL). Opposite one of the houses on Pinskaya Street, the driver lost control, drove into a ditch, rammed a concrete fence, after which the car overturned.

The man was trapped in the car and could not get out on his own. Emergency Ministry employees who arrived to the call, using a special tool, freed the driver and handed him over to the emergency medical team.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the rescued man, born in 1992, was hospitalized with injuries of varying severity.
