
July 7, Minsk . The Office of the Investigative Committee for Minsk established the circumstances of the murder of a Minsker in 1994. This was reported to BelTA in the UK.
As told in the department, in May 1994, near the stopping point near the Moscow Ring Road, the body of a man with obvious signs of violent death was found . He did not have any personal belongings or documents. The man's body had multiple injuries. Two days later, investigators identified the deceased. It turned out to be a 50-year-old resident of the capital.A criminal case was opened on the fact of the murder. Investigators found that shortly before his death, the man drankalcohol with colleagues. He later boarded the bus, after which the man was never seen again. Investigators and police officers checked the involvement in the murder of relatives, acquaintances and colleagues of a Minsk resident. Nevertheless, it was not possible to solve the crime in hot pursuit.
Later, the victim's wife turned to the prosecutor's office. The woman said that her passport and the passbook of her deceased husband were thrown into her mailbox. A fingerprint belonging to a Minsker born in 1977 was found on the documents. The man said that his acquaintance could be involved in the murder. It turned out that a man born in 1976, who at the time of the murder was a minor, bragged to his friend that he had killed and robbed a man.
Investigators identified and detained the suspect. He categorically denied any involvement in the murder. Nevertheless, investigators managed to collect evidence that confirmed the involvement of a man born in 1976 in the crime. A 46-year-old man has been charged with murder with particular cruelty and robbery.
