Drank juice with antiseptic: in the Mogilev region, a teenager was hospitalized with acute poisoning

April 22, Mogilev. In the Mogilev region, a schoolboy poured an antiseptic into the juice, counting on the effect of alcohol. This was announced to BelTA by the official representative of USC in the region, Tatyana Starosotnikova.

According to preliminary information, on the afternoon of April 21, a 15-year-old teenager bought juice in the buffet of the sanatorium, which he mixed with an antiseptic. He used a homemade cocktail until the evening, until he became ill. The guy was hospitalized with acute poisoning. At present, nothing threatens his life and health.

The teenager said that he had never tried alcohol and he wanted new sensations. The buffet did not sell alcohol, so he decided to replace it with an antiseptic, which was freely available in the hallway.

An investigator and a specialist from the Mogilev Oblast Department of State Commission for Economics examined the scene of the incident and ordered expert examinations. Eyewitnesses, a teenager and his relatives were interviewed.

The Mogilev Interdistrict Department of the Investigative Committee is conducting an investigation.
