Inflation in Spain in March will be the highest in 37 years

March 30, Minsk. In Spain, inflation in March reached 9.8% compared to the same month of the previous year, which was the highest figure in the last 37 years, according to the newspaper Heraldo de Aragon, citing the country's National Institute of Statistics (INE).

In February this year, inflation was 7.6%.

According to preliminary data published by INE, price increases are observed for most items, especially for electricity, automotive fuel, non-food products and alcohol . The final data for March will be published by INE on 13 April.
