The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkortostan begins accepting applications for participation in the Agrostartup grant competition. In 2023, state support for one of the most popular programs among start-up rural entrepreneurs has been increased from 5 to 7 million rubles for those implementing projects in dairy and beef cattle breeding, and from 3 to 5 million rubles for other agricultural areas. This year it is planned to allocate 98 million rubles for the implementation of the program.
“It is important that state support contributes to the birth and development of strong farms capable of producing products that are in demand on the market. Therefore, the participants of the competition for the Agrostartup grant will face a difficult exam. Only applicants with the most prepared and promising projects will be able to receive state support, - said Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Belarus - Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov. “Farmers today already produce 18% of the gross agricultural output in the region, and we look forward to further growth in this sector.”
