Komi is preparing for the spring field season

Taking into account the preservation of all existing support measures, this year the agrarians of the region plan to get crop yields no less than last year's level.
In 2022, Komi agricultural enterprises were fully provided with seed material, organic fertilizers were taken to the fields, and the support introduced in the form of reimbursement of the initial leasing fee made it possible to purchase 38 units of agricultural equipment.
As noted in the report on the activities of the Government of the region in 2022, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of Komi Elmira Akhmeeva, last year, as part of support for technical and technological re-equipment, farms purchased 169 units of agricultural machinery and equipment. This significantly affected the results of forage harvesting and record harvesting. The areas planted with potatoes and vegetables in agricultural organizations and peasant (farm) enterprises almost doubled, fodder was harvested with an increase of more than 60%.
In addition, the volume of supplies of venison to the processing capacities of the republic increased three times after the creation of competitive conditions with a guaranteed purchase price for deer meat.
“One of the strategic decisions of this year was the transformation of Komiagroleasing Limited Liability Company into a joint-stock company. To date, the reorganization procedure has been completed. The stage of increasing the authorized capital of the company (100 million rubles) has begun. The financial strengthening of the leasing company is aimed at accelerating the technical re-equipment of the agro-industrial complex of the region. This year it is planned to conclude 12 leasing agreements, by 2026 - 55 agreements,” Elmira Akhmeyeva noted.
