Agrarians of the Ivanovo region are actively updating their fleet of agricultural machinery, using government support measures. In the first quarter of 2024 , agricultural producers purchased more than 50 units of agricultural equipment, which is 33% more than in the same period last year.
Thus, 13 tractors, two grain harvesters and 37 units of other agricultural equipment were purchased.
“The renewal of the machine and tractor fleet is facilitated by a regional measure of state support in the form of compensation for part of the down payment when purchasing equipment on lease. This year, the regional budget has allocated 72 million rubles for this area, of which agricultural producers have already received 47.5 million rubles. Compensation was provided for 54 units of equipment purchased on lease in 2023 and 2024,” said Sergei Bubnov, member of the Ivanovo region government and DIRECTOR of the regional department of agriculture and food.
Let us remind you that last year farmers purchased 393 units of agricultural machinery, which is 52% more than in 2022. The fleet of equipment was updated to include 63 tractors, 12 grain harvesters and 5 forage harvesters, and 313 units of other equipment.
