Agricultural producers of the Republic of Bashkortostan will be compensated for up to half of the cost of insurance, the amount of state support in 2022 will be 197.5 million rubles. For comparison, in 2021, the amount of subsidies for agricultural insurance in the region amounted to 118.6 million rubles.
“Agricultural insurance with state support is an important tool for both ensuring the profitability of agricultural production and long-term planning in the industry,” said Ilshat Fazrakhmanov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Belarus, Minister of Agriculture. “Insurance is necessary for the development of the agricultural industry in order to offset the risks of losses from drought and other natural disasters, animal diseases.”
In the current year, agricultural producers of the republic have concluded 14 insurance contracts for crops with a total area of ​​72 thousand hectares, and 10 insurance contracts for farm animals.
