took part in the event dedicated to the memory of the great scientist-vegetable grower, Honored Scientist of the RSFSR, DOCTOR of Agricultural Sciences Nikolai Fedorovich Konyaev . The conference participants included scientists, students and graduate students of the Ural State Agrarian University, the Ural Federal Agrarian Research Center of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Kuban State Agrarian University named after I.T. Trubilin, RGAU-Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K.A. Timiryazev, Federal Scientific Center for Agrobiotechnologies of the Far East named after. A.K. Chaika, Krasnoyarsk State Agrarian University, Federal Scientific Center for Biological Plant Protection", Michurinsky Agricultural University Employee, Tver State Agricultural Academy, Federal Scientific Center for Nutrition Systems named after. V.M. Gorbatov, Research Institute “Zhiguli Gardens”, Arctic State Agrotechnical University, etc. “For ten years now, the Department of Vegetable and Fruit Growing at the Ural Agrarian State University has been named after N.F. Konyaev - his memory is forever preserved in our university. We traditionally hold scientific and practical conferences dedicated to the great scientist who made a huge contribution to the development of vegetable growing in open fields in the Urals and Siberia. The scientific research of Nikolai Fedorovich Konyaev on the biology of vegetable crops and their cultivation is successfully applied today. Our conference is not only a tribute to the memory of the great scientist, but also the further development of scientific and creative ties,” said Mikhail Yuryevich Karpukhin, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and Innovation of the Ural State Agrarian University, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor. Within 12 sections, conference participants discussed smart technologies in crop production, organic farming, adaptive resource-saving technologies for cultivating crops, plant selection and seed production, biotechnologies in crop production, nursery farming, green building and landscape design and much more. Thus, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of the USAU, HEAD of the Department of Vegetable and Fruit Growing named after N.F. Konyaev Mikhail Karpukhin spoke about the priority scientific directions and successes of USAU developments in the field of plant growing and selection. Professor of the Orenburg State Agrarian University Asya Filippova shared an assessment of ecosystem services when using waste in agroecosystems. Associate Professor of the Department of Genetics, Breeding and Seed Growing RSAU - Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K.A.



Timiryazeva Ekaterina Barnashova made a presentation on the topic “Development of elements of intelligent technology for the production of optimal timing for harvesting grain crops.” Associate Professor of the Don Agricultural University Svetlana Avdeenko shared the results of research on the selection of new plant varieties with improved well-being. A team of scientists from the Ufa State Petroleum Technical University spoke about the effectiveness of hemp for sequestering investments.
