The Samara Region continues active cooperation with the People's Republic of China, which is one of the strategically important trade and economic partners of the region. As part of solving the problem set by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin - to increase exports by 1.5 times by 2030 compared to 2021 - and the implementation of the regional project "Export of Products of the Agro-Industrial Complex" of the national project "International Cooperation and Export", Samara enterprises are steadily increasing the export of agricultural products to a friendly country.
"We started cooperating with China only this year and have already completed several successfully completed transactions. Initial contracts were for 500-600 tons, now we ship 2-3 thousand tons. We have plans to further increase the volume of sunflower oil and meal supplies," said Dmitry Dzyuba, Development Director of Niva LLC.
At the V Meeting of the Council for Interregional Cooperation in the Volga-Yangtze format, Samara Region Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev expressed confidence in the availability of all opportunities for further expansion of economic potential between the regions.
