
January 17, MINSK. The production of rural products in farms of all categories (in agricultural organizations, peasant (private) farms, households) in 2022 amounted to Br31.8 billion, which is 3.6% more in comparable prices compared to 2021. This was reported to BelTA in the National Statistical Committee.
Agricultural organizations produced products worth Br25.6 billion, or 2.9% more in comparable prices than in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Farms of all categories produced 1.734 million tons of livestock and poultry, 7.8 million tons of MILK and 3.4 billion eggs. Agricultural organizations account for 96.7% of livestock and poultry production in live weight, 97.4% of milk and 85.2% of eggs.
The largest share in the total volume of agricultural production is occupied by Minsk (26.4%) and Brest (22.2%) regions, followed by Grodno (17.7%), Gomel (12%), Vitebsk (11.2%) ) and Mogilev (10.4%) regions.
