Kabardino-Balkaria's agricultural enterprises presented their products at the Caucasus Investment Forum.

Agro-industrial enterprises from Kabardino-Balkaria presented their products at the Caucasus Investment Forum, currently taking place in Grozny.
A wide range of canned vegetables, vegetable and fruit juices, confectionery, mineral water and soft drinks, fresh fruits , berries , vegetables, and fruit pastilles were showcased by 12 regional agro-industrial enterprises at the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic's stand.
The forum also included a demonstration of the progress of five breakthrough projects in the republic, included in the state development program for the North Caucasus Federal District, including one agricultural production project – the Chegem-Agro greenhouse complex in Chegem. The first phase of greenhouses, covering 37.6 hectares, was launched last year. Currently, greenhouse vegetable production totals approximately 20,000 tons annually. The company plans to expand its greenhouse product supply throughout the country. This will allow us to provide the population with fresh vegetables – tomatoes of different varieties – all year round.
