The introduction of new branches of agriculture into economic competition was supported at a meeting of the Government of Chuvashia on July 26. Changes are made to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic dated February 21, 2005 No. 40.
The HEAD of Chuvashia, Oleg Nikolaev, stated: “The main goal of economic competition is to stimulate municipal districts, municipal districts, agricultural organizations, and peasant farms of the republic to ensure sustainable and dynamic development of agriculture. This is achieved by developing competition and improving product quality, improving production technologies, introducing innovations and modern management methods. As a result, they get the opportunity not only to increase their economic efficiency, but also to contribute to the development of the entire agricultural sector of the republic.”
The nomination "for the effective management of agricultural production" will be supplemented with new groups. Agricultural producers will be able to compete for the title of the best in “obtaining the highest production volumes and yields of protected ground vegetables” . And in the group “for obtaining the highest production volumes of marketable pond fish” there are also farmers.
In order to conduct a comprehensive assessment, new indicators will be added to the Regulations on holding economic competitions. For vegetable producers - yield and production per 1 worker. For aquaculture - the growth rate of gross production of marketable fish and the output of marketable fish from 1 ha of ponds.
As Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Agriculture of Chuvashia Sergei Artamonov noted earlier: “The main goal of economic competition remains to stimulate municipal districts, municipal districts, agricultural organizations, and peasant farms of the republic to ensure sustainable and dynamic development of agriculture.”
Recall: summing up the results of economic competitions is announced annually during the celebration in Chuvashia of the Day of Agricultural and Processing Industry Workers, awards are often presented by the head of the region Oleg Nikolaev. The winners receive diplomas and valuable prizes.
