Thanks to state support, Samara agricultural producers are training the necessary specialists

Within the framework of the federal project "Personnel in the Agro-Industrial Complex" of the national project "Technological Support for Food Security", 16 agricultural producers of the Samara Region received compensation this year for the training of 64 of their employees under target contracts with educational institutions.
"This year, we trained five tractor drivers and opened categories for them for combine harvesters. Some machine operators did not have the required category, and they themselves expressed a desire to study. This gave a result. The process of receiving a subsidy is quite simple: you just need to collect the necessary documents and submit them to the regional Ministry of Agriculture and Food," shared his experience the DIRECTOR of the agricultural enterprise "Karmala" Dzhamil Idrisov.
The farm cooperates with the Koshkinsky Provincial Technical School, which provides training and also sends students for industrial practice. "Thanks to such measures of state support, we see an increase in the interest of young people in professions in agriculture. By the end of this year, we still have employees who want to improve their skills,” Idrisov added.
Enterprises in the region’s agro-industrial complex can receive reimbursement of up to 90% of the costs of training their current or future specialists. Concluding targeted contracts provides advantages for both applicants and agricultural enterprises. For applicants, for example, there is a separate competition for admission to a university, the opportunity to enter without the Unified State Exam for graduates of secondary vocational education, free training in bachelor’s, specialist’s and master’s programs, as well as guaranteed employment after graduation.
For agricultural enterprises, this is an opportunity to attract young qualified specialists, retain personnel, provide employees with free higher education and adapt the training program to the needs of the company. The regional Ministry of Agriculture and Food acts as a customer and reimburses the bulk of the costs of targeted training from the regional budget. Employers undertake to provide graduates with employment in accordance with the qualifications they have received, and students, in turn, are required to work at the enterprise for at least three years after graduating.
“We plan to increase the number of applicants entering targeted places, since we see significant benefits in this. Firstly, students studying in a targeted direction are usually more motivated and interested in high-quality acquisition of knowledge, since they are initially focused on a specific workplace. Secondly, targeted training provides agricultural enterprises with the necessary qualified personnel, which directly contributes to the sustainable development of the agricultural sector,” emphasized the rector of the Samara Agrarian University Sergei Mashkov, speaking at the Personnel Forum of Unmanned Aircraft Systems 2025.
GovernmentSamara Region, under the leadership of Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, pays special attention to training personnel for the agro-industrial complex, relying on practice-oriented training and early immersion in the profession. On the instructions of the HEAD of the region, the amount of support for young specialists who decide to work in rural areas has been increased for the second year in a row.
