Deputy Governor of the Vologda Region Mikhail Glazkov visited the Komintern-2 production cooperative, which is located in the village of Talitsy, Kirillovsky District. This agricultural enterprise is one of the ten largest in the region and specializes in dairy cattle breeding, having the status of a "breeding plant for breeding black-and-white cattle."

The total livestock is almost 3,000 heads, of which 1,330 are cows. The plans for 2022 are to complete the construction of a robotic livestock complex. The first phase has already been completed. A yard with loose housing for 120 cows and a dairy block were put into operation. The complex is equipped with the latest technologies. Two robots are engaged in milking of cows, feed supply is also robotized. The automatic robot not only performs all the necessary manipulations before and during milking, but also controls the quality of MILK.

The foundation for the second similar site has already been laid, the construction of walls has begun, 120 cows will also be kept here.

“The company had a difficult year. The collective farm is considered the most affected enterprise from abnormally hot weather in the summer of 2021. Despite this, more than 12,000 tons of milk were produced over the past season, which is 163 tons more than in 2020. Productivity per 1 forage cow for 2021 amounted to more than 9,000 kg, which is 123 kg more than in 2020 and almost 1,250 kg higher than the regional average, - said Deputy Governor Mikhail Glazkov. “Thanks to the professional work of this and many other enterprises, as well as the attention and financial support of agriculture from the regional government, the population of our region is fully provided with high-quality dairy products.”

The opening of the new complex is scheduled for autumn 2022.
