Farmers and personal subsidiary farms at a round table discussed measures of state support in the field of agriculture in the Sakhalin Region

Scheduled meetings with small businesses on the provision of state support measures within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative" were held in the municipalities "Kholmsky City District" and "Nevelsky City District".
The meetings were attended by the heads of peasant farms, representatives of the SPOK and owners of private household plots.
Employees of the ministry, together with representatives of the regional competence center for the development of agricultural cooperation and support for farmers, told farmers about the measures of state support and the development of agricultural consumer cooperation in the region.
Farmers had a detailed consultation on existing state support measures, including innovations in this area. Also during the meeting, the participants learned about all areas of activity of the My Business center.
Farmers actively participated in the discussion and asked questions related to trade at fairs, subsidizing costs, discussed the cost and final price of products, actively discussed the creation of cooperatives and were cautiously interested in exporting products.
“I am at such a meeting for the first time. I learned something new for myself about support for the owners of Far East hectares, for private household plots and even about support for reindeer herders,” Erkin Ishankulov said.
This is the first meeting with farmers this year. Until the end of the year, workshops will bring together farm owners in each municipality of the island region.
In addition, during the meeting, representatives of the regional ministry and employees of the Competence Center took on several tasks at once and have already started work.
