Belgorod farmers continue harvesting soybeans, sunflowers and corn

To date, 19% of soybean acreage (total 293 thousand ha), 6% of corn acreage (total 157 thousand ha) and 5% of corn acreage (total 122 thousand ha) have been harvested.
Farmers threshed 128 thousand tons of soybeans with a yield of 23.6 centners / ha (2021 - 17.8 centners / ha), more than 29 thousand tons of sunflower with a yield of 28.8 centners / ha (2021 - 25.7 centners / ha) ha) and 66.7 thousand tons of corn with a yield of 102.6 q/ha (2021 - 74.7 q/ha). Works are carried out in those municipalities where grain moisture allows. At the same time, agricultural producers do not talk about adverse weather conditions, since usually, in order to avoid crop shortages, crops (corn, sunflower, soybeans, etc.) are sown in the region's farms, which have hybrids and varieties with different ripening and harvesting periods.
