Revaccination

From November 17, by decision of the Ministry of HEALTH in the Kaliningrad region, the procedure for immunization will be changed. Those wishing to be revaccinated against CORONAVIRUS will first check the authenticity of the QR code, certificates of a vaccinated or recovered covid-19 in electronic or printed form.

QR codes for transport

The HEAD of the administration of Kaliningrad said that the authorities have not yet decided on the introduction of QR codes in public transport, following the example of Tatarstan. However, the city manager assured that the city has the technical capabilities to implement such a decision.

Coronavirus

In the Kaliningrad region over the past day, 390 cases of coronavirus infection were detected, 405 people recovered, two died.

As of the morning of November 16, 2,458 beds for patients with coronavirus and pneumonia have been deployed in the region in 29 medical institutions, of which 121 are with mechanical ventilation. 1,771 beds are occupied, of which 77 are with ventilators. Regional authorities note a downward trend in the number of patients in coronavirus beds. This is due to the introduction of non-working days.

The Megapolis-Zhilstroy company of the regional Duma deputy Yevgeny Morozov plans to build a Western residential area along Bolshaya Okruzhnaya Street (Sovkhozny microdistrict) in Kaliningrad. The developer also plans to build two kindergartens for 320 children each, allocate more than 1 billion rubles for laying a water pipe in the microdistrict and another 3 billion rubles as co-financing for the construction of a water intake and domestic sewerage. At its own expense, the investor will equip a rainwater sewer and a substation.
