
Most Russian doctors believe that it is too early to talk about an early victory over the COVID-19 pandemic . This conclusion was reached based on the results of a study by Rosgosstrakh Zhizn, Rosgosstrakh and the Doctor at Work platform for doctors. RBC got acquainted with their conclusions.
Only every ninth doctor (11%) believes that the trend towards a decrease in the incidence of coronavirus infection will continue in the coming months. A relative majority of doctors surveyed (42%) expect a slight increase in new infections, and about a third (29%) believe that the number of new COVID-19 diagnoses will increase significantly. Every fifth doctor (19%) found it difficult to answer the question about a possible increase or decrease in the incidence in the coming months.

Doctors have named several reasons that hinder the fight against coronavirus infection:
84% - the unwillingness of some Russians to observe self-isolation after contact with alleged carriers of the infection; 77% - refusal of many people to wear masks; 74% - active visits to public places (bars, restaurants, concert halls, etc.); 73% - unwillingness of some Russians to be vaccinated; 49% - no habit of washing hands and using antiseptics.
