PIONEER MEIZHENG BIO-TECH (5 in1) JC0871/ Rapid tests for the determination of the residual amount of β-lactams, tetracyclines, chloramphenicol, streptomycins, ceftiofur in milk, whey. The management of the Rubtsovsk Dairy Plant in Altai, owned by PepsiCo Corporation, knew about the presence of antibiotics in the milk entering the enterprise, but still used it in processing, Yulia Melano , official representative of Rosselkhoznadzor , told RBC. This is evidenced by the check carried out after the detection of antibiotics in the Lamber cheese produced at the enterprise.
As Rosselkhoznadzor reported on November 24, 2017, department specialists in the Altai Territory repeatedly identified tetracycline antibiotics in Lamber cheese produced at the Rubtsovsk Dairy Plant. As a result, the enterprise was banned from supplying this cheese to the market of the EAEU countries.
According to the results of an unscheduled inspection, it turned out that the company did not carry out proper quality control of both raw and pasteurized milk, according to Rosselkhoznadzor. In particular, for the production of cheese, the plant used pasteurized milk coming from PepsiCo enterprises in Omsk, Krasnoyarsk and Novosibirsk. “From the information in the control log of incoming milk and raw materials, it is obvious that the Rubtsovsk Dairy Plant did not control pasteurized milk from Omsk and Krasnoyarsk, which is a prerequisite for the production,” Melano said.
The department's specialists also have complaints about the acceptance of raw milk, which came to the plant from the Altai Territory and the Novosibirsk Region. In addition, according to the Rosselkhoznadzor, the information provided by the Rubtsovsk Dairy Plant about the return of milk unsuitable for processing to suppliers is not true.
Now specialists of the Rosselkhoznadzor department continue to check the Rubtsovsk Dairy Plant. “At the same time, it is already obvious that the plant cannot confirm the return of unsafe raw materials. And we cannot exclude the possibility of its receipt for processing, ”Melano told RBC.
