The mere introduction of mandatory QR codes in Moscow for visiting restaurants and cafes is not able to stop the spread of CORONAVIRUS, measures must be implemented in a comprehensive manner. This was stated by WHO representative in RUSSIA Melita Vujnovich, RIA Novosti reports.
“WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros and WHO Regional DIRECTOR for Europe Dr. Kluge have said many times: one measure does not solve the situation, a set of measures is needed that must be taken together to flatten the curve or stop the pandemic,” she said.

In the capital, from June 28, restaurants and cafes can only be entered using a QR code (with the exception of summer verandas, where they are allowed to enter freely until July 12). The code can be obtained by those who have been vaccinated against covid-19 (in the case of a two-component vaccine received both doses) or have been ill in the last six months (with official confirmation of the diagnosis). Also, the code is issued on the basis of a negative PCR test made no earlier than three days ago.
Children will be given codes only on the basis of a PCR test or a past illness, as minors are not subject to vaccination.
