Mandatory vaccination introduced in Voronezh and Vologda regions

In the Vologda and Voronezh regions, mandatory vaccination against covid-19 has been introduced for a number of categories of citizens, follows from the decisions of the chief sanitary doctors of the regions.

“I decide to ensure that prophylactic vaccinations are carried out according to epidemic indications against a new CORONAVIRUS infection ... for the following categories (groups) of citizens, covering at least 80% of the total,” the document says Igor Mekhantyev, Chief Sanitary DOCTOR of the Voronezh Region.

The document states that employees of healthcare, education, social protection, trade, catering, public transport and taxis, beauty salons, bank client branches, as well as civil servants are subject to mandatory vaccination. The first component must be vaccinated by October 30, the second - by November 30.

The decision of the chief sanitary doctor for the Vologda region Irina Kuznetsova states that similar categories of employees must undergo mandatory vaccination. At least 80% of employees in these areas should be vaccinated with the first dose by November 25, the second - by December 25.
