In schools in Bashkiria, 900 classes went into quarantine due to influenza

In Bashkiria, 16 schools and 900 separate classes were quarantined. This decision was made due to the increase in the incidence of SARS and influenza. This was announced by the HEAD of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Belarus Aibulat Khazhin at a meeting of the operational headquarters for combating covid-19 .

The department called the situation with the spread of influenza and respiratory infections "difficult". The number of sick schoolchildren today amounted to 55,847. Another 258 children and 65 teachers are being treated for CORONAVIRUS infection.

The Ministry of Education and Science and Rospotrebnadzor expect that the incidence among schoolchildren will significantly decrease due to the long New Year holidays. They will last from December 31 to January 16.

New Year holidays in educational institutions will be held in compliance with anti-epidemic measures. Matinees in kindergartens will be held in separate groups, parents who present a QR code about vaccination or past infection will be able to attend.

School Christmas trees are also organized for individual classes, school-wide holidays are prohibited. Excellent students, winners of Olympiads in the municipalities will be congratulated on December 24, events with gifts will be held in the open air. New Year's performances in theaters and houses of culture will take place, but there will be no traditional round dances around the Christmas tree.
