Additional rooms will be opened at vaccination points in the Republic of Tatarstan for those who will receive a second dose of COVID-vaccine. To date, 1.73 million people have been fully vaccinated in the republic

“If we started mass vaccination approximately from October 11, after the decision was issued, then from November 11 we expect an influx of second vaccination,” said Dmitry Lopushov.

He added that from next week, additional rooms will be opened at vaccination points for those who will receive the second dose of the vaccine.

Now there are 826,000 doses of the vaccine in warehouses in medical institutions. According to him, this is a sufficient amount for intensive work. “The vaccine comes in kits per person. If a person received the first dose, then automatically this vaccine came to the second dose. Therefore, it cannot be such that a resident received the first dose and there is not enough vaccine for the second,” he said.

To date, 1.73 million people have been vaccinated in the republic. The first component of the vaccine received 1.546 million people.
