St. Petersburg tightens "anticoid" restrictions

Since July 13, additional "anticoid" restrictions have been introduced in St. Petersburg . According to the press service of Smolny, Governor Alexander Beglov, on the basis of the order of the chief state sanitary DOCTOR for St. Petersburg Natalia Bashketova, signed a new version of Decree No. 121 "On measures to counter the spread of a new CORONAVIRUS infection ( covid-19 ) in St. Petersburg."

Since Tuesday, July 13, the city has banned any mass events with more than 75 people. At the same time, the occupancy of theaters and concert halls should not exceed 1.5 thousand people, the occupancy of circuses is reduced from 75 to 50%, and sports and physical culture events should be held without spectators at all. Moreover, athletes, coaches, judges, etc. must have either a negative PRP test taken no more than 3 days before the day of the event, or a certificate of vaccination.

At the same time, it is stipulated that this restriction will not affect cultural and entertainment events held in theaters, concert halls, circuses and cinemas in agreement with the Committee for Culture of St. Petersburg, as well as sports and physical education events held in agreement with the Committee for Physical Culture and sports.

Toughening is also provided for water transport: the occupancy of ships engaged in passenger transportation should not exceed 50% of the number of passenger seats. In addition, entertainment and entertainment events should not be held on them.

All previously established restrictions are extended until August 16.
