From September 18, restrictions against the spread of covid-19 will again begin to apply at the Government House (Krasnopresnenskaya embankment, 2) “due to the increase in the incidence rate ,” two government sources told RBC. Members of the government apparatus received the corresponding recommendations, signed by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko, on September 15, the interlocutors clarified. In particular, the mandatory use of masks and respirators in the building is being returned, and the number of visitors and personal contacts between employees is being reduced. In addition, it is recommended to reduce business trips, both abroad and in RUSSIA.
“Additional preventive measures, including a mask regime, are temporarily being introduced on the territory of the government house,” the government press service confirmed to RBC. — The decision was made due to the seasonal increase in the incidence of ARVI, influenza and COVID-19. Temporary restrictive measures will help maintain a favorable epidemiological situation.”
As Rospotrebnadzor told RBC, with the onset of the autumn period there is traditionally an increase in the incidence of ARVI, influenza and COVID-19: “This is an expected and predictable situation, which is associated with a number of factors. Firstly, the cold weather, which is gradually beginning to settle in the Northern Hemisphere. Secondly, the number of contacts between people increases after summer holidays and holidays.” The service clarified that “restrictive measures, such as, for example, a mask regime, are not planned unless there are serious reasons for this”: “Local restrictions may be introduced in institutions for a certain period. In addition, do not forget that the use of hand sanitizers is a simple and effective personal preventative measure that significantly reduces the risk of seasonal diseases. In offices and organizations, sanitizers at the entrances have already become a common measure for hand treatment; no one removed them even after all COVID-19 restrictions were lifted.”
RBC sent a request whether restrictions will be returned in other institutions to the Ministry of HEALTH and the Department of Health of Moscow.
