The ruble has become one of the leaders of growth against the dollar among the currencies of developing countries. This is reported by RIA Novosti.

In the period from the end of last year to April 29 inclusive, the ruble rose by 6.2%. For comparison, the Brazilian real appreciated on FOREX by more than 14%, the Colombian peso - by 2.5%, the South African rand - by 1.2%. The growth of the Mexican peso was 0.9%. At the same time, the Egyptian pound lost 14.9%, the Argentine peso - 10.8%, the Turkish lira - 9.7%. The Thai baht and the Indian rupee were down 2.7% and 2.3% against the dollar, respectively.
