Planned medical care for children, even in the face of a new wave of CORONAVIRUS, must be maintained. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with the government.
“I looked: in our country, some medical institutions for children, unfortunately, are curtailing their work on providing planned assistance. Still, everything possible must be done, at least in relation to children, so that planned assistance does not stop, ”said the president (quoted by TASS).
He stated this after listening to the report of Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova. She, in particular, informed the HEAD of state that over the past few days, hospitalization of children has sharply increased - by 36.5%. “Now this is the subject of our special attention and, of course, we treat this with great concern,” she said.

The restriction does not apply to ordinary polyclinics, however, the department recommended that Muscovites postpone scheduled visits to the polyclinic for two to three weeks "due to the increased workload on the outpatient link."
