The prosecutor's office began a check because of the queues for registration at Sheremetyevo

The Moscow Transport Prosecutor's Office is conducting an inspection in connection with long queues for registering passengers at Sheremetyevo Airport. This was reported on the website of the department.

“The prosecutor’s office is checking compliance with the requirements of the law when organizing ground handling at Sheremetyevo International Airport in connection with the lengthy check-in procedure for departing passengers over the weekend,” the report says.

The department organized an on-site reception of citizens on the issue of observance of the rights of passengers at the airport. The reception will take place on July 12 from 10:00 to 18:00 in the airport building.

Earlier it became known about the queues at Sheremetyevo due to checking the availability of PCR tests among passengers. As the press service of the airport explained, the accumulation of passengers "was due to the increased load on the check-in counters due to the increased time for checking the required documents as part of the implementation of anti-epidemic requirements."
